How to set up Facebook SDK for JavaScript?

    I am trying to add a required code to set up Facebook SDK for JavaScript to my website (http://abirdwhale.com/).

    https://developers.facebook.com/docs/javascript/quickstart/v2.2 says that I need to put the code after the opening <body> tag on each page. Could you kindly direct me which file (php?) I should add the code?

    My goal is to replace the old Facebook Like Box with the latest (hopefully responsive), on the static ‘page’ called ‘main’ of my website.
    I am using my child theme of twentytwelve. I am a beginner.
