I ran the bulk optimize just fine but now I am confused as to how I get the new images on my server. Over the last few months I have uploaded my 320 images to the default directories by year and month so they are all over the place. I just need some direction as to how to replace them all.

    Thank you.

The new images are already on your server. Optimizations are done “in place”.

I hate to be a dunce, but I have similar question. I have optimized all of the images using the bulk optimizer, but google page speed still complains that the image size is bigger than what is being served. I could have sworn I saw the optimizer create the different image sizes… so i’m confused as to how to get wordpress to serve the correct image size…

EWWW does not create the resizes, WordPress, your theme, and other plugins generate those. But it is still up to you to use them in your posts/pages. See #1 on the FAQ for more info.
