how to remove index.php from inner pages.

    i have my new blog at online dating valentine wherein, i have modified the permalinks using “/%index.php%/%category%/%postname%/” but the resultant is coming with an “index.php” inbetween.

    uk.onlinedatingvalentine.com/index.php/gifts-for-her/cheap-gifts-for-her/

    where i want it to come like,
    uk.onlinedatingvalentine.com/gifts-for-her/cheap-gifts-for-her/

    and when i try to remove the “/%index.php%/” part then it throws a 404 error stating uk.onlinedatingvalentine.com/gifts-for-her/cheap-gifts-for-her/ not found.

    I have windows server with both asp & php installed with MYSQL and SQL database and i have picked up the php and mysql database to use the same application.
