• Hi there. when I check my website source code it is showing the google tag manager code added to it. I want to know whether it is working or not. And if it is not working please tell me the detailed process to remove it manually from the code because there is no tag manager plugin present on my website. I had also checked in header and footer files also. No code present there also. Thanks in advance.

    My site URL is: https://www.bpktech.com/

  • Hello rickybranch,

If you didn’t find the code within your theme Header or Footer file, it should be coming somewhere from Admin Panel.

Either it can be some sort of the theme settings or some different plugin that is adding.

Also, you can check via https://tagmanager.google.com/#/home that any account is created or not and the account should match with the one that is showing on your site.

Or else you need some professional to find this and remove for you.

    Thanks.

Thank you kartik. How can I check to which account it is linked?

    Hey Ricky,

I doubt that it is possible to find the account based on your GTM code.

It should be your Gmail account if the site is owned by you or maybe your client’s account.

Ideal would be to find from where the GTM code gets added and change it to a new one if you are not aware of the past development.

    Thanks.
