    Hi Talia,

I don’t think I fully understand your question, but there is no straightforward way to remove the text below thumbnails. It uses the title of the attachments so if you want it to be something else you can rename the attachment. You can use the custom CSS option on the settings page to modify how the text looks and possibly even make it disappear (not immediately sure how one would do this, but I think it should be possible).

In regards to the issues saving your settings page, in order to diagnose what is happening I need to see what your browsers is doing which is not straightforward. If you can export a HAR file from your browser where you reproduce the issue, I will have a better change of diagnosing what is happening. Depending on which browser you are using, how you would get a HAR file differs, but here is a brief description of how you would get a HAR file on common browsers. If you tell me which browser you are using I can give you more specific directions.

    Thanks!

Is there a way to display the caption vs. the name of the document? I’d rather not have to rename every document as the names are fairly important as well.

If you can point me to a file, I might be able to bandaid it myself.

    thanks.

    Hi suchapro,

This is unfortunately not possible withe existing functionality.

That said, you could “bandaid” in the functionality your want or, preferably, use the dg_doc_icon filter documented on the installation page to tweak the HTML output to meet your needs. Using the filter rather than modifying the code directly means you will still be able to receive future updates.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the filter and I’ll be happy to follow up with you 🙂

PS: If you’ve found this plugin useful, please take a moment to rate it. Thanks! 🙂
