no it simiply ads default slug which is category …
i want to remove that too …
so do it.. you have the opportunity on that page to define whatever pl structure you want.
Wrong question. You don’t want to remove the “category slug” (which would be for example “uncategorized”) but the WORD category from the permalinks. No, you can not. You can replace it with anything, but you need it.

actually i dont want anything to be used as slug
by default slug is category
and urls are like
example.com/category/uncategorized
if i add slug like myblog
urls will be like
example.com/myblog/uncategorized
but i dont any of these categories slugs
which should make category urls like
example.com/uncategorized
is it possible ??? if yes, then how ???
Just type “./” into it. Worked for me =)
