How to properly migrate from localhost

How to properly update the site from localhost ? I have very slow Internet connection. All work is done on localhost. Fastest cache is not yet installed on both site . It is correct if I …
1) Install on remote site and on localhost WP Fastest Cache separately.
2) After some updates on localhost (new posts, pages and site settings) I do a backup of a database on localhost and restore it on my site, with search and replace. All work will be done with UpdraftPlus for example.
3) Clear cache.
