How to post ratings?

    After enabling recipe ratings for the first time, the grey stars appear in the recipe card but I can’t find anywhere to add ratings. My assumption was that there would be an option when commenting but there isn’t.

    How are ratings posted? Where does it pull ratings from?

    Hello,

    Meal Planner Pro ratings works with the default WordPress comment form and enables readers to rate recipes when they leave a comment on a recipe post.

    You may be using the Jetpack or other comments which are not compatible. Any plugins, such as Jetpack comments, Disqus, or others, will not work with the default Meal Planner Pro ratings. Not to get technical but we can’t “hook” the functionality into an unknown area – with the default WordPress comment form it’s not an issue.

    Similarly, if you use a theme that uses a custom comment form instead of the default comment form, the ratings will not be available.

    Other recipe plugins have this limitation as well. We can only enable ratings through the WP Comments default.

    Okay good to know. Jetpack is likely the culprit then.
