How to insert uploaded video into posts?

    I searched all over the documentation I can’t find anything that explains this.

    I upload video (I tried avi, .mov and .flv) and then I click “Insert Into Post” and all that gets inserted is the title of the video in plain text, no tags no nothing. When it is posted all it is is just text of the title. Images work fine. Same thing from the media library. I am using Flash 10 and WordPress 2.8, latest FireFox.

    What is suppose to happen? What am I doing wrong?

    This blog is for a someone else who needs an easy way to upload video from his computer.

    Is the video option suppose to embed it for you, or is it just a way to upload video and url to it?

    Yes

    You may want to look at some of the video plugins but, be careful. Not all of them are compatible with WP2.8.
