How to implement Slider

    Hello,

    unfortunately I have forgotten how to implement a slider in the root theme. If I read the documentation its mixed up with the parallax theme.
    So my question is, how to set up the slider in the root theme. I remember, it was really easy but I couldn’t find in hours searching. I need it quite quick, because I’m moving a site otherwise I have to change the theme to get finished. Because of that the site is in maintenance mode and can’t be looked at.
    Any help appreciated.
