How to hide subfolder in URL on multisite

    I set up a multisite in a subfolder named /wordpress.
    I would like to hide/redirect now the URL so that the name of the folder does not show up.
    I have done it several times with regular sites but never with a multisite.

    What is the easiest way to do so?
