How to hide href from image captions

Hi,
When I make an image caption that is a url and then add the image to a post.
In the html you got the <img but after that you got the caption <href
I still want to keep the <href but I just don’t want the code to show in the html as it conflicts with a plugin I have.

Does anyone know a way I can keep my captions but just hide the <href tag in the html of a post?

If it can’t be hidden then I was thinking a line of code for the content filter to load the href separately. So it gets the content and after all that it loads the href this might work
