How can I exclude certain headlines from appearing in the TOC? Is there a class I can add to my H2/H3 tags?

If you want to exclude all H2 and H3 headings, then go to Settings > TOC+ and click on advanced, then untick H2 and H3.

If you want to exclude headings using a pattern, see http://dublue.com/plugins/toc/#I_want_to_ignore_certain_headings

Thanks, this is working great. I was hoping for an attribute or something to explicitly mark headlines as “do not appear”, but this approach works as well!
