How to exclude attachment with specific file types?

    I created the documents system on WordPress. Everything was fine until I do not download featured images to media gallery. Now in search results are documents (.pdf, etc) and featured images. How I can exclude specific file types (.png, .jpg for example) from search results? Or featured images from search results? Enough for me to change the code. I can handle it so I don’t have to wait for the plugin to update

    I have a similar question about WP Extended search. How do I exclude attachments from the results altogether? Please let me know. Thank you.

    WPES do not have any option yet. But I will consider adding this in future release.
