I’m running W3 Total Cache on my shared hosting account (stablehost.com) and it’s doing a terrific job. I’m using CSS minification, page caching, database caching, object caching, and Rackspace Cloud Files CDN.
The only disk caching option available to me is regular “Disk (Basic),” not “Disk Enhanced.” Everything else is grayed out.
From what I can tell, the “Enhanced” mode is supposed to be significantly faster, so I’d like to try it!
How can I enable Disk Enhanced mode? Do I need to add anything to my .htaccess file? Have my hosting company change settings? (I have searched and searched, but haven’t found instructions anywhere…)
My compatibility check report is below.
Thanks so much!
