on the settings >> discussion page it also says this:
Allow people to post comments on the article
(These settings may be overridden for individual articles.)

I don’t know. How would I check??
well, if it were turned off, and you wanted to enable it, you would need to edit the post — so Im guessing you need to look at the page thats displayed when you would be editing the post.
Thats where all the per-post settings would be, right?
i checked, its at the very bottom of the Edit Post page.

Thanks. That was indeed the case.
So I’ve enabled commenting on each individual post.
However now it just says “No comments”.
It doesn’t give me the option of ADDING comments for a post.
Any ideas?
Any updates on this? I’m having this issue also.
