How to enable comments by default

    Hi. I’m using twentyfourteen and the comments box does not show by default.. I have to click the top bar where it says “x comments” so that it shows the comment box.
    This is confusing for the n00b users and I’d like to show the box all the time. What do I need to do?

    Go wp-admin -> Settings -> Discussion.

    Hi, I would like to have comments always allowed for a post and the option for the check box to not allow comments in the admin area.

    Is this possible? I cant find anything in the forums relating to this.
