How to edit "wp-config.php" on Managed WordPress

    Hello, I’m very new here. I’m trying to figure out how to edit a code in “wp-config.php” to fix a fatal error bug in a plug-in, Polylang, as suggested by this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-1178?replies=12#post-5782123

    I’m with Managed WordPress, and I went into phpMyadmin (via Managed Hosting->Settings->Database) but then not sure what to do next. First of all, is phpMyadmin the right place to look for it? If so, where can I find “wp-config.php” for editing? If not….where can I find “wp-config.php” for editing?

    I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

    There are many “managed WordPress” hosting providers, and they’re all different. Most don’t allow you to modify wp-config, but most do offer pretty good support which should be able to help you sort this out (either without modifying wp-config or by modifying it for you).

    Oh Thank you for the prompt reply – I’m with GoDaddy Managed WordPress. Anyone know what to do here?

    I will write to GoDaddy too!

    Yeah, you’ll need to contact GoDaddy about that for sure.

    phpMyadmin is a database tool – you need a file manager to access files.
