You need to edit directly the document and the content will be regenerated.
If you do not have any other question I will close this topic as resolved 🙂
unclear where do I find the file…..to edit directly…..
once I have edited it….do I simply save and close it, and it regenerates…
I am unclear as to what happens to it when I save the file on the wordpress page….where it is actually saved and linked to.
thank you
dean
Just edit the copy of the file that you have in your computer or download it from the media gallery of WordPress.
Erase your original shortcode and regenerate a new one with the freshly updated file.
If you prefer not to store old versions of the file in the media gallery remove the old unused version of the file.
The idea is: one document -> one post or page….
My post does not showing image while i uploaded the xyz.odt document to the post it is showing only text?
If the image is not in a format suported by all browsers like, for example, .emf it will not show up.
Please, replace the image by a GIF, PNG, JPG or PNG and it will show up with no problem.
As I watched your plugin video exactly same procedure I am following but image of document is not being imported.
?
What is probably happening is that the image inserted in the document is not of a browser compatible kind: please, try to change it to GIF, JPG, PNG format.
But on localhost it is showing the result.
You should have started by that 🙂
Then the problem may be related to the PHP config in your server. Is the gd PHP extension activated? That is required for the rendering of the images. It is usually instaled by default in any reasonably recent versions of PHP but for some reasons it may be deactivated in your server. Run a script with phpinfo() (if you know what i am talking about) or ask the system administrator….
