How to dequeue or deregister the javascripts?

    I have a site with hundreds of pages (it is an on-line art gallery) which only needs the meteorslides on the home page.

    How can I dequeue or deregister the javascripts?

    I went into the meteor-slides-plugin.php to find the handles used, and used those to dequeue the scripts but with no effect.

    Anybody can advise me?
