Hi,
yes, that is possible.
The UWP > Users Block (or shortcode) has the option to select which role to show.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks,

Hi Paolo,
Thanks for your quick response.
Can you please be more specific, how do I change that setting.
And if so, how do I create another list to display the rest of the users

Step 1: Create a page and add the block UWP > Users and in the Block settings select the role you want to show on that page.
Step 2: Create the second page and repeat step 1 assigning another role.

I tried your suggestion but there is no option in the Blocks Settings as shown in your screenshot.

That’s because you are not following instructions correctly.
You are using the shortcode block instead of using directly the “UWP > Users” blocks as in my screenshot.
If you are using the Shortcode you need to add the roles as parameters.
Example: [uwp_users roles=”subscriber”]

Hi Paolo,
Based on the above issue, I have identified few thing that need improvement.
- When using default WP editor:
It does not show the option to choose which roles have access to that specific list (but works great with WP default editor). See screenshot of how it’s showed in Elementor:
https://paste.pics/ac7d7953f4a7d65a01cc958dabcdc4b1
- When using Elementor:
It does not save the configuration options. No matter if I click apply or Update, it doesn’t save it and will list all users instead! See screenshot above
- Search Engine Disapears
Also when using UsersWP > Users the search engine dissapears:

Hi,
You can use the ctrl key to select multiple roles as it is a multi-select dropdown but maybe not showing like the select2 dropdown of Bootstrap which we will check from our side. The square you mentioned is not a part of our plugin as it is coming from Elementor or some other plugin.
Can you see the console if you find any JS error or not?
Can you show by an arrow or marking in the screenshot which search engine disappears?

Patrik

Hi Patrik,
Thanks for your reply.
Regarding the search engine, here is the default Users page as shown in the following screenshot. As you can see the search engine appears and is fully functional. (I would create another ticket regarding how to create another custom search engine to search by country).
https://paste.pics/f8d009237295c1169c92d80b29629c15
The following screenshot shows the list of users only with user-role = barber
As you can see the search engine disappears.
https://paste.pics/8a2880652cef2f8ae4373e6d107ea7be
Same for the Barber Shops Users List. (same error in front-end console.)
To create my custom users page and assign the user-roles accordingly I have used the UsersWP > Users Block as shown in the following screenshot:
https://paste.pics/b6ee074a450fe5027222477daafe5013
As you can see when I’m in edit mode the Search engine looks to be displayed. But not on front end where it dissapears. I did the same for the Barber page, the only difference is that I have selected a different user-role to be displayed. As for the UsersALL page, it is the default Users page that the UsersWP provides.
