    Hello,

First of all I would like to mention that I am a beginner in using WordPress.

I have a little issue that I cannot figure out… So, I need my search function to return as results only the images from the media library -or- a gallery with a corresponding title to the submitted search keywords.

To understand better, I have (hope to have) a gallery with over 500 photos of the sponsors of a non-profit organisation. Each photo’s title is the name of the sponsor appearing in the photo (while planting a tree). So I would like for a sponsor to be able to enter his name in the search box and as a result to see his photo.

Any advice or direction is most appreciated.

    Thanks.

Thank you for all the wonderful advice. I didn’t expect so large a volume.

For someone else who finds this post and has the same problem, my solution is represented by Web Dorado’s Photo Gallery plugin.
