• Hi guys,

I’m trying to use events manager as a way of managing a booking system.

Basically I run an a syndicate of 4 people sharing the use of an aeroplane. We need a way of booking it out using hourly slots. Problem is, we need the facility to book it out at any point in the future (months in advance sometimes).

I’ve been using the ‘trial and error’ method to try and create this sort of functionality using recurring events, however I seem to be failing miserably!

All I want, is to have a series of events covering hourly slots on every day, infinitely into the future, that disappear (become unavailable) once a user books that slot.

If this is possible, can someone help me with some instructions please?

    Many thanks!

  • basically what you want to do is to create an event which needs to be repeated everyday a specific time like every 7am-10am, 10am to 12pm, 1pm-3pm etc….

    is this correct?

    Hi angelonwl,

Yes, that’s exactly it. Is this possible? I don’t think I’m setting up the recurring events correctly, as they’re not showing up :/

    Any ideas?

honestly, i’d say you might want to consider another plugin (a bookings plugin specifically). reason is for this to work you have to creat an event for each hour of the day.

you could however just create 24 events and make them recurr daily for a long long time.
