• Hi,
I’d like to create and share a new plugin for WordPress.
I’d like to use the right coding standards.

Is it a good choice to use Visual Studio Code and phpcs?

If yes I have another question, I’ve installed and configured phpcs and I have this output:

    phpcs -i
The installed coding standards are MySource, PEAR, PSR1, PSR12, PSR2, Squiz, Zend, WordPress, WordPress-Core, WordPress-Docs and WordPress-Extra

Opening WordPress’s core files with this configuration I can see too many errors, so I think it is not the right configuration.

Which is the right configuration of phpcs?

    Thank you very much

    claudio
