How to correct code when site and admin is down?

    I was tinkering with my site’s theme editor when I messed up and now my entire site is blocked, showing an error. I know how to fix it, I just need to access my theme editor!

    Do you have a WordPress.com or independent site?
    Can you access the site via FTP? If so, drop a fresh copy of your theme in WP-content/themes. That will give you a fresh start.

    Thanks for your reply gr8whitenorth. It’s an independent site, but unfortunately I don’t think FTP was set up, can I still find a solution?
