• I am afraid my site was hacked some time ago. I deleted everything, reloaded my backups. Everything was fine but in a couple days, I started getting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING errors and when I disable the plugin causing the error, the next one gave the same error. Experimented for some time and I’ve decided that my database is infected and started building a new one. But soon it turned out that it’s going to be quite a work and I started wondering whether I will be able to clean the SQL database.

    Sadly I am a mediocre+ user and I am a little confused.

Is there any tools that you know that could help me? I am open to any guidance and recommendations.

    Thanks in advance.

  • If you think your site has been hacked/compromised. You might want to check out Sucuri to see if they might be able to help you recover your site. I don’t know if there are free options out there as well, but this is the route I would take if I experienced issues.

Hope this helps you resolve your issues.

I’ve scanned my site after I reinstall things and sucuri says I am clean. But that changes in a few hours and site becomes down again.

    Thanks for the advice.
