How to change the width?

Hi, i just cannot get the width to work. No matter what i do, its stuck to the original size? When i go to the Styling:
Form Width – 100% (fill the available space) – doesnt make any difference
Pixel (fixed) – No matter what, just wont change the size.Any help? thanks a lot
