How to Backup a Database Too Big For phpMyAdmin

Hello,

I am trying to backup my database at Powweb, but phpMyAdmin won’t respond. According to the excellent WordPress documentation, this might be because the database is too large for phpMyAdmin. WordPress documentation suggests command line ways of backing up the database, but my host only offers phpMyAdmin for managing the database. Any suggestions?
