How to automatically update News section

Hi all,

I’m building a WordPress theme in which the front page (static) has a news section. I want the user to be able to edit the news section and add content to it using the WordPress visual editor, but I also want it to automatically update whenever a new post / article is published. What do I mean by that?

When the user posts a new article, I want the news section to be updated with the following content:

New article published! Find it here (where ‘here’ is a hyperlink pointing to the article’s url).

Is this possible to accomplish? If so, how?
