    Hi there,
I’ve used numerous Maint mode plug-ins over the years. Most, if not all, of those I’ve used before have the option to allow users of certain role (set to “Administrator” by default) to view the front-end whilst site is in maintenance mode. This is obviously very important, otherwise there is no way to test on the front-end changes you are making (which is the reason site was put into Maint. mode in the first place).

On your plug-in I don’t see any option to allow Admin users to access the front-end. Have I over looked a setting somewhere? Or does this feature not exist on your plug-in?

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,
When you’re logged in as an admin you should always see the normal page. That’s why there are no options to change that.
So you’re logged in as admin, can access the backend but don’t see the normal page on the front? Make sure to empty the cache. That’s the #1 cause of problems in those situations.
