How relocating html pages to root?

Hello,
I am new to wordpress and not very technical.
I installed both wordpress and the resulting html pages in the same folder qp-mc.com/qpmc.
After theme customization to build the core structure of the (all static) pages, I did some more setup work as the permalinks were not working correctly.
And then only realized that I should have chosen to publish the www html in the root folder qp-mc.com.
There is a lot of documentation available to move the wordpress installation away from the root, however I did no yet find information on getting my situation changed to get the www pages published in the root folder.
Thanks for any feedback that can help me work in the right direction.
Carpe diem, Fred
