How many posts can wordpress handle?

    I have a site I am working on that will have 10,000+ posts on it very quickly (by using csv importer plugin). Is there anything I should do to prepare for this many (on wordpress/server side)? Can wordpress handle this?

    I’m sure their are some huge content sites with wordpress I just wanted to make sure, thanks in advance.
