How does exit intent tracking works on mobile?

Hi, I am trying to use the plugin and I like the exit intent option of the pop-up to be displayed, but can’t get how should it work on mobile?
How does it tracks the ‘exit’ on mobile device and when should the user see the pop-up on his phone/tablet?

I tried to setup a box and chose both desktop and mobile screens to show it, but wasn’t able to see it on my screen. Even when I switch between browser tabs on my phone – the box is still not displayed.

Does this option (exit intent) works at all with mobile devices?
