How do you handle mobile/iphones?

    Do your wordpress sites display well on mobile phones, or do you add plugins for that, or do you have a stripped down non wordpress version of your sites? Thank you for any feedback!

    Or does it depend on the theme, as far as how well its displayed by mobile/iphones phones?

    Both. Some themes are just fine (TwentyEleven), others I use plugins for.

    Great, thank you. Is it considered acceptable for a clients site to have to scroll horizontally to be viewed on a mobile phone? For example, when I client says that want their site to be seen on mobile phones, is that normally taken to mean a stripped down version of the site that fits well into a mobile screen (maybe with vertical scrolling), or is horizontal scrolling ok. Im previewing a clients site on an iphone, and it shows up, though only about 1/4 of the page shows and you have to scroll up/down and side to side to view it all. Thank you for any feedback!

    Vert scrolling is better.

    Side to side is poor UI.
