How do i stop comments?

    Hi receiving too many spams on my blog.

    How can i disable comments and not have to necessarily moderate as too many to keep up?

    Hello;

    Don’t know which version of WP you are using.
    From 2.7 till latest do this:

    click Appearance->editor->single.php (right side)

    Search for term: <?php comments_template(); ?>

    Remove it and save file

    Done, no more comments
