How do I make text background white?

    Hi, I’m new to WordPress, html, and CSS. I’m using a photo as my background and it makes the text difficult to read. How do I make the background behind the text white so it is easy to read? The theme I’m using is Go Daddy Vintage. my web address is wildmanautoworks.com
