i just changed host i have installed wordpress on my new host i downloaded a copy of my database to my desktop. now how do i link it to my new host. so that i get all my stuff back anyideas can someone help

If you have an .sql file, or a zip / tar.gz, then this guide might help:

It does work if you have the files mentioned – and so long as you keep the backup safe (copy it) then it can be done again if needed. That tutorial does work though but if you have problems post back.

To copy:
Right-click the file, Copy, then Paste the copy somewhere safe.

Installed WP is fine.
Just follow each step in the guide above.
