How do i create a wp list with thumbnails

    Hi,

    I really need help with creating a wp list with thumbnails and text. On my site i have a page which lists artists names in alphabetical order but i need to have an image displayed as well to make it easier to find artists. I’ve tried to use a few plugins but cant get my head around how to use them as i’m not great with the code sides of wp.

    I want it to look similar to this: http://azindex.englishmike.net/gallery/index-with-thumbnails/ but with the text underneath the image.

    If anyone knows of a way or an easy to use plugin please let me know.

    The answer to this totally depends on your theme.

    If you are using a free theme, post a link to your site here and someone may be able to look at its code to help. If you are using a paid theme, we cannot examine its code or options, so you should contact the theme supplier.

    I’m using a paid theme however i am using a basic template page at the moment to display the categories. I just needed to know how i could add an image to the template or if there was another way of doing it.

    But I just found this http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/category-icons/ which is doing what I need it to do at the moment, so fingers crossed.
