How do I Backup WordPress

    Try the WP-DB-Backup plugin.

    thanks but I don’t use any plugins…particularly for something as critical as a backup.

    I’m looking for the optimal way through cpanel/phpMyAdmin. I’ve done dozens of backups and restores…just want to know what’s recommended – codex gives two different versions of the truth.

    For example, complete inserts…is it necessary???
    I think I might answer my own question..
    “Complete inserts” adds the column names on every INSERT command, for better documentation (but resulting file is bigger).
