• Title: How can I remove the default Post Navigation from single posts?

    Hello GeneratePress Support,

I am using GeneratePress version 3.6.1 on my WordPress website:

    https://worldissuepost.com/

I would like to remove the default Post Navigation that appears at the bottom of individual blog posts.

    For example, on this page:

    https://worldissuepost.com/federal-reserve-policy/

at the bottom of the article, GeneratePress displays a navigation link such as:

“Global Financial : Market is volatile”

This is the title of another post and appears after the article content. I understand that this is the GeneratePress Post Navigation (the “next post” navigation).

I would like to completely remove this navigation from single post pages because I prefer a cleaner article layout and better visual readability.

I have already tried the following:

    • Custom CSS targeting #nav-below
    • Custom CSS targeting .post-navigation
    • Custom CSS targeting footer.entry-meta
    • The generate_show_post_navigation filter
    • Code Snippets

However, none of these methods removed the navigation from the page.

I also checked the page source and confirmed that the navigation is generated as:

    <nav id="nav-below" class="post-navigation" aria-label="Posts">

with a .nav-next element containing the next post title.

Could you please tell me the correct and recommended way to completely disable/remove the default Post Navigation in GeneratePress 3.6.1, preferably without modifying the original theme files?

I am not trying to change the SEO behavior of my site. I simply want to remove this visible navigation element for a cleaner design.

    Thank you for your help.

    Best regards

    Hi there,

It looks like you have disabled the post navigation already, is that the case?

Let me know if you still need help!
