I believe some custom CSS would help you out. Go to plugin settings section, and insert this in Custom CSS area :

#ytio-container {
	background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.79);
	color: #fff;
}
#ytio-container a {
	color: #fff;
}
#ytio-container #ytio-switch {
	border-color: #504C4C;
}
