Hostgator support, does it really exist?

    I’ve got two domains and the WordPress professional package from Hostgator. However, I need to contact their support, as it is not running.
    Their live chat is permanently unavailable and when I try to make an appointment with their support, as is part of the package deal, I simply get a message “There are no appointment types available for scheduling”.
    I have also submitted a support request, but of course no reply.
    I’m getting real irritated with them, as I have to get this site up and running before next week. Has anyone ever been able to contact their support, or is it just a scam?

    Hi,

    Sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience. I have used hostgator in the past and never had a pleasant experience. However, I used to get someone to chat with me over their toll free number on their website or could also chat with them via live online chat.

    You will not be able to get much help regarding Hostgator here so it would be best to post on their forums.

    Yeah, unfortunately, there toll free number is not free here in Hong Kong. I’m just going to get another hosting package and get a refund.
    Can anyone suggest a good hosting company?

    Oh, sorry to hear that. What about the online chat option ? They don’t have that too?
