On my web host I have 1 Terabyte of storage space but on my WordPress Dashboard it’s telling me I have 1000MB of storage space for media and I’m at 100% of that and can’t upload any more photos. How can adjust WordPress to take into account the fact that I actually have lots of additional storage space on my server, so I can continue to upload media?

Hopefully you are talking about wordpress.COM…if so visit http://support.wordpress.com/contact/

WordPress (the self installed/hosted version) does NOT know about any limits your host might impose.

No, I’m using WordPress MU and it’s hosted on Dreamhost, where I have a 1TB limit. But when I go into the dashboard of wordpress, it’s telling me I’ve got a 1000Mb limit and I can’t find anywhere to change that, nor have I been able to find anything about this in the codex.

Meanwhile, I can’t upload anymore media, despite having oodles of storage space, and it’s really frustrating!

A more satisfactory answer might be forthcoming at http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/
