    Hi,
I have a page with right sidebar and a table with 6 columns. I have enable horizontal scrolling for the table. My test site is local so I can’t test the scrolling on mobile, instead I resize my browser window to mimic phone size. I see two columns on the far right are cut off. Yet I cannot see the horizontal scroll bar. Please advise.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to debug this without being able to see the page… Can you maybe bring this to a test site that I can then look at?

    Regards,
    Tobias

Sorry for that @tobiasbg. I’ll enquire again when I put the development site online in the future. In the meantime I have reviewed some of the same issue in the forum and found #rowspan was not compatible with horizontal scroll bar. I do use #rowspan in my table.

    Hi,

ah, I see. Yes, the #rowspan# would cause the Horizontal Scrolling feature of the DataTables JS library to fail.
But: There’s an alternative! You could uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox (required when using #rowspan#). Then, download, install, and activate the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ and use its scroll mode in the Shortcode.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
