I’d like to clarify one important point: the premium subscription is not a monthly charge just for the ability to translate URL slugs.
Slug translation is just one of the features included in the premium version, alongside the ability to translate SEO elements, create multilingual sitemaps, optimize your translated content for search engines, and much more.
The cost of the premium version also supports the continued development and maintenance of TranslatePress as a whole, allowing us to continuously improve the plugin, maintain compatibility with WordPress and third-party plugins, develop new features, and provide support to our users.
That being said, we understand that you may have expected URL slug translation to be available in the free version. If there was anything on our website or plugin that gave you that impression, please let us know. We’d genuinely like to take a look and see if we can make this clearer.
