Homepage Title

    Hello,

    I am working locally. I am using Polylang to create a multiple language site.I have a strange issue with the Home Page.

    In SEO Framework Homepage settings, I specified Meta Heading Attachment (the one supposed to be at the end of the title) in Turkish.

    In that settings, I have a warning for Meta Title and Meta Description. It says:

    A plugin has been detected that suggests keeping this option on [Home] (http: //localhost/hatupen.com/wp-admin/post.php? Post = 7 & action = edit # tsf-inpost-box).

    In Turkish home page, there is no problem.
    In English home page, Meta Heading Attachment is not translated to English, but on all other English pages, everything works fine.

    Even if I check Remove Blog Name, and insert manually on English Home Page, nothing changes.

    So, I am assuming, the home page settings of English language gets the Meta Heading Attachment from the TSF home page settings.

    How can I solve this problem?

    Hello!

    The odd texts should’ve been links that lead home page edit-screen, but there were a few errors in the translation files for which the fixes have yet to be forwarded. So, I’ve asked our Turkish translation editor to accept some changes. @gncmhmt could you check your Slack messages, where I explain how these work?

    Now, translation plugins like Polylang and WPML completely overtake your WordPress environment, in ways no developer can anticipate. It is why I added that red warning there.

    In any case, yes, your assumptions are correct. I recommend emptying the fields where the red warning is displayed. This is because the SEO Settings’ homepage input fields supersede the ones on the page-edit screens, for every language.

    With those fields emptied, the homepage’s page-edit screens SEO Settings’ input fields will work again as you intend them to.
