• On the Homepage settings in the Customize panel, any page that I select as homepage ends up as a Page Not Found result. I can select any page or can select the posts and all result in Page Not Found.

I received a reply indicating it was a third party theme problem, I changed and tried five different themes and all had the same error.
Also I deactivated all plugins and it still shows a “Page not found” error on the homepage no matter what page is selected to be the home page. Even if I choose to show pasts as home page then those show up as not found.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • From what I can see the page you are using for your home page really doesn’t exist…

    https://cbdoiloklahoma.us/Hempoil/

All the rest of your pages are there and your blog seems to work. I can see your privacy policy.

So figure out what or where the Hempoil page is or the proper link for that from the permalink line… or view it from your page’s dashboard.

I couldn’t find a sitemap either. If I could have found one I’d probably been able to offer a better answer.

You might try setting the home page from the settings page also.

Dashboard –> Settings –> Reading and select ‘Your homepage displays’ set that to one of the pages it suggests.

The thing is I have reset the Home page to each of the available pages and whatever page is set to the homepage then results in the “Page not found” result. When I change to another page for the home page, then that previous page becomes visible.
As I mentioned I’ve tried several different themes by different developers all with the same result.
I’ve also deactivated all of the plugins and still same result.
    Never had this happen before

    What’s in your .htaccess file?

Since the same thing happens with different theme and with the plugins deactivated that only leaves WordPress core and your server as possible culprits.

Also, try to “reset” permalinks (change settings to a different one from the current, save, then change back to the initial settings and save).

OK, since this was a new website with not much on it, I deleted the entire version of WordPress from the hosting company Cpanel. Then reloaded it and started rebuilding the site, I initially didn’t have any problems until I started creating content on the page that was designated as the static front page, at that point it started giving me the “Page not Found” message.
I then again tried selecting other pages to be the static front page, once I selected a different static page, it no longer showed up. and the other pages would show up.
    Never seen this before
