To enable default home page like on the demo, you will need to navigate to WordPress dashboard -> Settings -> Reading and set “Front page displays” to “Your latest posts”.
Works, thanx. But how can I show posts now ? I would like show them on special page, not at homepage (I saw that at Theme options).Thanx a lot
@pesiin : I had the same problem. I solved it by creating a front-page.php file in which I pasted the content of index.php.
I put it in a child theme of firmness but you may also store it in the original theme directory.
Then I went back to the wordpress dashboard and switched the front page display to a static page.
It’s perfect !

You may put the file in the /www/wp-content/themes/firmness directory.
This theme is beautiful and, as you do, I really want to make it work for me.

I am using the Firmness theme and just updated to wordpress 3.9.2, but now my homepage slider has stopped working and so have many of my plugins, ie tiled galleries are now displaying really clumsily, etc. Images are looking stretched and it’s no longer displaying on mobile… I have reactivated all plugins already to no avail…
Anyone else have this problem? Can anyone please help?
Site is http://www.icmarketing.co.uk – I have now in desperation restored the latest backup so it’s back on the previous version and slowly beginning to work but obvs I can’t skip updates in the future…
