Home Page Frustrations
Today I began work on my web site. My initial plan was to have absolutely nothing published until the web site was completely finished. Upon discovering this wasn’t possible, I decided to have my home page, “Welcome to (name of my website). This is currently under construction etc.” I am very frustrated with my results.
I edited sample page and inserted the text I preferred. I went to readings, and made said page the homepage. Because it is the only page this should be fine.
However, whenever I hit “preview changes” on my page, or type in my URL to view the page, it comes up with an extremely untidy page reading “Business lite from CyberChimps WordPress Themes is a Professional Responsive WordPress Theme perfect for any business on any device.” It does not have my text anywhere on the page! I am very confused, and would like this solved ASAP because I am creating this site for my professional business and would not like any clients finding this unprofessional looking-page. Please inform me on how to publis the page I truly want.
