    i would like to change the format and material on my current home page without changing the directory site. the homepage currently “blogs” all past posts and/or pages. how do i format a home page myself that doesn’t simply aggregate all of the older posts?

    Do you mean, how do I make a static home page?

    If so, go to pages, create a new page, add your content.
    Then create a new page called blog
    Then go to settings > reading and select the radio button that says use a static home page. Using the drop downs, select the new page for your home and the blog page to display your posts.

    Once I get to my homepage, it does not allow me to edit. It’s not even an option. Any advice?
